In today’s world of instantly sharing information, it is critical now more than ever to confidentially destroy that private data once your computer reaches its useful life. This simple truth is that formatting your hard drive is not enough anymore. You need to destroy the hard drive itself to ensure that no data can ever be retrieved from it. The Process
Our mobile unit arrives at your location. Our staff members collect all hard drives/ media that are to be destroyed. We document the serial number of each hard drive, then each disc is degaussed to erase all of the information on the media, then the media is physically destroyed with our press device rendering the hard drive/media inoperable. Upon completion of the project your office receives a certificate of destruction that lists the serial numbers of the hard drives that were destroyed. Our two method approach of degaussing (erasing the data) and physical destruction proves an effective way to securely dispose of electronic information. Our equipment meets all regulatory standards including Department of Defense, FACTA, HIPPA, and Sarbanes Oxley.
